Hello all you magical beings. Welcome to another Coaching Corner with Cards with me, Stella Boheme. As we wrap up Pride month and all the festivities it brings along with it, both personally and nationwide, we hit the natural halfway point of the year; we've scaled to the peak of the mountain and now it's time to walk down the other side towards the end of the year.

All Paths Lead To June

On a personal level, every path in the first half of my year seems to converge in June. It is the month where so many of my personal celebrations come together:

• Birthday

• Wedding Anniversary

• Pride Month

• Service Anniversary at my day job

• Celebrating my move to Florida

I made a pithy comment on Instagram that I wanted to celebrate so hard that July would feel like a month-long hangover. I can happily report... mission accomplished.

In the Wheel of the Year, June also brings us Litha, the Summer Solstice—the longest day of the year. It is the moment when the Sun reaches the height of its power, a season associated with fire, protection, abundance, vitality, and love.

This year feels especially significant. I turned 45, celebrated five years at my day job, and marked one wonderful year of marriage to my incredible partner. June has truly become the month where all of my paths meet.

The Page of Wands - The Many Paths of Possibility

June's magnetic energy also perks up a lot of creative energy in me. It could be because I officially consider June the kick off into summer time or maybe because the Gemini energy super charges this Gemini into an unreasonable amount of projects and ideas. Whatever the case may be, so many possibilities pop up for may during this time period. This seems to be firmly in the realm of this months' card: The Page of Wands.

The Page of Wands is a very interesting firecracker of a card. They're all about curiosity and finding that spark of passion and creativity in their life. You know... what turns them on and gives them a reason for getting up in the morning.

Lately, I've been doing a lot of internal work and realized I had fallen into a constant state of DOing instead of BEing.

What does that mean?

Simply put, I found myself becoming increasingly anxious about making my business profitable. After investing a significant amount into my Ms. Volusia Pride package, I responded the only way I thought I knew how: create another offer, plan another promotion, build another package, adjust another price point.

I became so hyperfocused on what I was offering that I lost sight of why I created the offers in the first place.

Then something remarkable happened.

Earlier this month I had almost forgotten that I had committed to reading at the Body, Mind, and Spirit Celebration at the Tampa Fairgrounds. At first, I honestly thought it couldn't have come at a worse time. I was feeling the financial pressure from my pageant investment, and for the first time I was going to work the event completely on my own without my husband beside me.

But there was one unexpected gift hidden inside the weekend.

I had rented a Reader Only booth.

No products to display.
No books to haul in.
No merchandise to arrange.
No wondering what someone might buy.

Just me, my table, my decorations, and my Tarot cards.

For two days my only job was to sit across from another human being and ask, "How can I serve this person today?"

Here's the remarkable part.

In those two days, I earned back my investment into Ms. Volusia Pride—and then some.

But the money wasn't the biggest gift.

The real gift was remembering why I married coaching and Tarot in the first place.

Not to build the biggest menu of offerings.
Not to create endless promotions.
Not to stay busy.

It was to make a genuine difference in people's lives.

Somewhere along the way, I had become so focused on building my business that I had briefly lost sight of the calling underneath it.

By stripping everything else away, the weekend reminded me that the soul of my work has never been the products, the packages, or even the business itself.

The soul has always been the person sitting across the table.

Returning to the Spark

The Page of Wands is a reminder that sometimes, in order to move forward, we must return to the spark—the source. Not only to reconnect us with our purpose, but to allow new creativity and opportunities to come into play.

I pulled the Page of Wands at the perfect time of year: the halfway point, just before we step into the familiar rush of back-to-school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas seasons.

As we begin the journey into the latter half of the year, I encourage you to ask yourself:

Where can I return to my own spark? Where have I become so focused on the end result that I may have forgotten why I started in the first place?

Perhaps this is also an invitation to revisit the things you set in motion at the beginning of the year—your Wheel of the Year readings, your New Year intentions, or personal goals that may have fallen to the wayside or become routine.

Sometimes we are not being asked to do more.

Sometimes we are simply being asked to remember why we began.
