Blessings everyone and welcome to the third month of summer. In Florida that means... RAINY SEASON!!
This August has already started with a bang... My day job working for the Mouse has determined it's time to wear masks indoors again due to the Delta variant of COVID-19. Yes... Yes, the masks are making a comeback. And I won't be making any comment on it at this point as I'm sure people will see how it plays out. Rather I find this whole situation to be an interesting and transformational lesson we are going through collectively as a world and planet. For me, the practice of Tarot and really any spiritual lesson is a lesson on getting out of our own ways and walking towards our highest and best selves. Sometimes it's a solitary practice and sometimes it's a congregational practice. And in the world of COVID-19, we are learning just how our decisions can indeed affect the people in the world. And that is all I'll say about it...
In other news, I am proud to say that I've completed all the coursework and readings and lectures and meditations necessary for the Hay House Card Reader Certification program. Yes, that's right I am now a Certified Card Reader through Hay House! What I thoroughly enjoyed about the process is allowing new meanings of the cards to unfold for me as well as talking about the ethics and building up clientele and your own business. For the investment of $175 it was thorough, insightful, and all-around uplifting. AND I got some cool new graphics to add to my website:
In other news, I'm happy to dig out the Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani as August's Deck of the Month. Based on mythology and folklore from around the world, this deck is simple and vibrant at the same time!
